Introduction to Storytelling Winter Session (Ages 13-18)

× Do you love stories? Have you always wanted to be a storyteller rather than just a listener? Instructor Jenn McCallion leads you through the key aspects of storytelling focusing on memorization techniques, vocal warmups, engaging with the audience, and retelling stories in your own words. Apply those techniques in practice through an exploration of personal stories before moving into the realm of traditional folktales and fables, culminating in a storytelling show for children! This introductory course is perfect for those looking to develop their confidence, public speaking, and personal engagement skills or for those who just love to tell a good story!
