× Presented in partnership with the Canadian Music Centre, Composers Canvas brings together a powerful ensemble of Northwestern Ontario’s emerging and established musicians for an evening of bold contemporary music. Featuring original works by Canadian composers, the program reflects the people, landscapes, and soundscapes of Northwestern Ontario. The project is dedicated to providing a platform for emerging composers and performers — amplifying new voices and creating space for music that challenges tradition. Curated by composer and violist Amani Sloley, this concert also marks his final creative project in Thunder Bay before relocating abroad. It offers a meaningful send-off and a celebration of the region’s vibrant artistic community.
